The holiday season would return yet again! The wonderful thing about being a Malaysian is the barrage of holidays that befall upon us again and again. If I did not get my facts wrong, Malaysia is in the top tier for the number of public holidays. Brilliant, isn’t it?
The Year of Rat is coming up. Shopping malls are brightly decorated with scarlet red, the colour of prosperity. It is quite a sight really. To think that only a month ago, it was a White Christmas in The Curve, The Pavilion and 1 Utama. Now, wherever you turn to, red lanterns, red cloth, red everything just overwhelms you.
Now, there is something about Malaysia that I must point out. Malaysia is a shopping haven! And the reason I brought up the holiday season is really to mask the main intention I had in mind for this post. SHOPPING! It is every girl’s paradise.
70% mark down. 50% discount. 2 for the price of 1. These signs just screams at it – screaming at me to get the items on sale. It is unbelievable the deal you can get during such festive seasons. Coming up with excuses for excessive shopping just fails me when I am confronted with such a situation.
You know. A picture speaks a thousand words. You would not believe me unless I present you with evidence.

Rotaract Installation 07/08
